Our photographer visited the home of Cincinnati sports breweriana collector Bobby Herbort.

Like most collectors, Bobby started collecting in 1975 by collecting beer cans.  Bobby grew up in a family that collected breweriana.  His father Bob and brother Jason were (and still are) collectors of breweriana.

Bobby biggest passion is to collect breweriana that pertains to all Cincinnati sports from both past and present.  This includes, but not limited to the Reds, the Bengals, the Royals, the Cyclones, and River Downs.  He also collects Cincinnati breweriana that have a sports theme.

Bobby has been married to his wife, Darlene, for 13 years.  Bobby has three kids, Francis, Jeffrey, and Kathryn.  Not only does Bobby collect sports breweriana, but he is also very involved with his kids and sports.  He is a soccor coach for his kids team.  He also takes his kids to many sporting events.  He doesn't just take them to games but also special events like the Cincinnati Reds Fest this past fall.

Bobby has been working for the U.S. Postal Service for 18 years.

Bobby is a member of the Queen City Chapter.
