April-Board Member Debbie Brown  was married to Board Member Jeff Dowers.

June-The Kentucky legislature approved interstate signage for The American Museum of Brewing History and Arts, Herb & Helen Haydock's collection, which was on display at the Oldenberg brewery.
October-The board voted to affiliate with NABA as well as the BCCA.

January- Chapter president Dave Gausepohl became a regular contributor to the BCCA bimonthly publication with his column "Inside the Package Looking Out". Dave's column explored the brewing process and beer styles in general.

Luck of the Irish #20  Held March 15-17, 1996 at  Drawbridge/Oldenberg  Highlights -  Saturday night featured a presentation by Jim Bruckman of the Bruckman brewery fame and free admission to the Coyotes Dance Hall for all attendees.

Attendees were shocked to discover that Herb and Helen Haydock’s collection had been sold and had disappeared from the Oldenberg Brewery. Note the bare walls in the photo.

September-At the BCCA Canvention in Indianapolis, chapter member Todd Bakemeier won first place for his cone top display.
