On July 4, 1986, this brewpub opened on Roanoke Island in the city of Manteo on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. It is a seasonal operation and can be found beside the Christmas Shop on route 64. They also have non brewing outlets in Corolla and Kitty Hawk, NC. A 15-bbl Bavarian brewhouse is used to produce their line of German lagers. The Manteo and satellite locations were closed when the Weeping Radish Eco Farm & Brewery opened in 2007, in Jarvisburg, NC on hwy 158/168 north of the Outer Banks
